Opening Assignment January 18/12

My best advice for the next class of business studies students is to do every opening activity even if it means doing a little bit of Bull sh*tting. Keep up with the assignments because they aren't that difficult. Don't get distracted by facebook and youtube and such, unless you are done the day's assignment. This class isn't hard, you just have to pay attention.

Opening Assignment January 17/12

 

Beats have been all the rage this year so I would throw a pair in there.

iPad 2 is another product that was hot off the shelf.

Xbox 360 is another one of my favourite products that I would like to see in the time capsule to compare it with the systems they are going to have in 20 years.

Opening Assignment December 1/11 REPOST

I would convince them that tacky sweaters are once again in style, make them believe that the tackier the better.You have to sweeten the deal, Throw in like matching mittens for free with every purchase. Another way is to get a famous celebrity to wear the sweater in the ad. Make the ad funny, the funnier it is the more people will be inclined to get it. Play with their heart strings a bit, be like buy the sweater your grandma would have loved to see you in at the holiday dinner table.

Opening Assignment December 14/11 REPOST

I would try and talk to him and se if he is serious about his job. See if he knows that what he is doing could cost him his job if it continues. I would do this in a fair manner at first and I would also imply a 3 strikes policy for the employee. I think that is a fair thing to do. If he takes his third strike then he is fired because I don't have time for those who don't care about their job. I gave the employee a fair chance to change his ways. But I'm positive that their are better workers that would love to have that employee's job.

Opening Assignment January 10/11

I would like to say thanks to apple for the iPod. Music is a huge part of my life and my iPod has made it easier to listen to music wherever I go. I saves me from just listening to random chatter on the bus or distracts m from my thoughts when I'm alone. It's nice sometime to get away from distractions and drown out the noise. Music honestly helps me focus more in school because I'm not tempted to join in conversation with my classmates and end up not doing work. Thank you Apple.

Pepsi vs Coke is the product war that I'm gonna use. I personally prefer Pepsi over coke because of the taste difference. Plus Pepsi is all my family drinks so i suppose that could be another reason. After looking at both websites I think Pepsi's website is far better. First off, Coke's main website was "under repair. But I love pepsi's web design. It's very modern and clean looking but it is also very interactive and easy to navigate.
